MAKITA INTRODUCES NEW 40V MAX XGT® 2 GALLON QUIET SERIES COMPRESSOR

Cordless compressor provides top performance with low noise and the lightest weight in its class

June 15, 2023, La Mirada, CA– Makita U.S.A., Inc., manufacturer of high-quality professional tools, outdoor power equipment and accessories, has released the new 40V max XGT® Brushless 2 Gallon Quiet Series Compressor (model AC001G).

Ideal for Indoor Applications

The Compressor has the performance to drive up to 700 brad nails on a single charge of a 40V max XGT 4.0Ah battery, with a low noise emission of only 68 dB and the lightest weight in its class. With its low noise, light weight, and cordless design, it is ideal for interior trim and other applications

“As Makita continues to expand the XGT® System, the 2 Gallon Quiet Series Compressor was engineered for interior finish carpenters that use pneumatic nail guns,” said Rudy Jansen, product marketing manager, residential construction, Makita U.S.A., Inc. “With its low noise, light weight design and portability, the Compressor can be transported to and from a jobsite, up and down stairs, and for room-to-room use.”

Portable and Versatile

The AC001G Compressor has the lowest weight in its class and has up to 10 lbs. lower than competitor models. The lightweight design allows the Compressor to be transported to just about anywhere with less fatigue to the end user for finish work including baseboard, crown molding, and more.

Performance and Power

The Compressor is rated at 1.2 CFM at 90 PSI and provides a maximum pressure output of 135 PSI which can be monitored in the large, easy to read gauges.
